Covid-19 Update
The GGHA Board and staff closely monitor the current conditions
and how they impact our facilities, activities, and how to conduct Association business.
We realize this is a frustrating situation for everyone and apologize for the inconvenience,
but we want to do our part to keep everyone safe and eliminate the virus.
Please review the information below for details on our recreation plans and facilities,
as well as impacts to Association business.
Last Update - 12/11/20
Office & Assessments
The GGHA office remains closed but staff continues to respond to phone messages and written correspondence.  GGHA's annual letter was mailed out to everyone at the end of May.  This mailing contained the annual assessment invoice which is due 7/1/2020.  In an effort to provide assistance to all our residents during this challenging time, the Board has extended the date assessments become delinquent to 8/31/2020.  As always, if you need to make arrangements to pay your assessment, please contact the office at, through our website, or by phone at 510-797-7600.
Tennis Courts & Plans
Tennis courts have been open since the weekend of May 30 & 31. When using the courts it is imperative all social distancing practices are followed when the courts are in use.  GGHA will be following the same social distancing practices the city has put in place for their courts.  Please review these required social distancing practices before using the courts.
Euro Tennis has resumed their group tennis classes at Alta. They are following the guidelines and requirements set forth in Alameda County's health order pertaining to Youth Extracurricular Activity groups.  There court usage hours are posted on our tennis webpage and in the display case at the courts.  These usage hours updated once or twice a month.
The Board realizes 2019/2020 tennis plan holders that purchased their plan prior to 3/17/20 have not been able to use the courts since mid-March.  In addition the use of the Alta Courts by Euro during their tennis camps will limit plan holders future use of the courts.  For these reasons, the Board has decided to not require payment for renewing tennis plan holders (who purchased plans prior to 3/17/20) for 2020/2021 - the key you have will continue to work.  New tennis plan holders will be able to purchase a plan at a reduced rate of $65.
Swim Lessons
After careful consideration and much deliberation, the GGHA Board determined we can not safely offer swim lessons in 2020.  This was a difficult decision, but it was made to ensure the safety of our residents, and staff.  We look forward to resuming our program in 2021 and welcoming everyone back.
For more information on swim lessons, please see our swim lesson website.
Recreational Swim & Pool Plans
GGHA has carefully reviewed the recent county orders that allow for some outdoor facilities, including pools to reopen, despite the expected surge in COVID-19 cases in the Fall and Winter months. After careful review of the health and safety protocols required for recreational swim and analysis of the data, we have decided that Glenmoor Pools will remain closed to open swimming for the remainder of the 2020 season. We value the health and safety of our neighbors and community members as our number one priority. Thank you and stay safe and healthy.
Association Events & Activities
Currently all events for 2021 are TBD.  We are hopeful we will be able to hold some of these activities or replacements.  We are monitoring the Covid-19 situation on a regular basis and will update this page when we have more information.
